Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Plumber who has a great attitude to work for a busy business and to be a part of a close knit team. Experienced plumbers who are also ready to take a step up to into a leading hand / management role are also encouraged to apply, as a strong work ethic and ambition will be highly valued. You will be working alongside the company Director on a range of job sites in this is a varied role.
Your responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will include:
- Working as part of a team as well as unsupervised
- Managing a team of 3-10 plumbers & apprentices
- Project management, delegation of tasks and problem solving
- Liaising with builders, clients and other trades directly and cultivating strong working relationships with them
- Managing workflow and adhering to deadlines and job budgets
- Reading and understanding a range of plans (commercial, hydraulic, construction, etc)
- Adhering to safe work practices
The ideal candidate will also have the following:
- Mandatory Requirements: 6+ years experience
- Minimum Certificate III in Plumbing
- Demonstrated commercial experience
- Solid understanding of construction program importance
Nice to have (but not mandatory):
- Confident operating medium to large excavators
- Excavator operator licence/VOC

1st - 2nd Year Apprentice Commercial Plumber
- You will be provided with all necessary tools, equipment and training required
- You will be paid above award wages and be eligible to receive performance-based incentives
- You will gain experience in a large variety of the plumbing trade
- Maintenance Plumbers not required
